This new evaluation framework appears at an exciting moment in the continuing evolution of the Reflect approach. Reflect was conceived in 1993, named in 1994 and first fully evaluated in 1996. It is now entering its teenage years and this is a time of immense potential.
Reflect programmes around the world are hugely diverse – as they should be – shaped by and adapted to the context in which they have grown as well as to the different interests/backgrounds of their parent organisations. Indeed sometimes Reflect programmes can appear as if they are hardly related to one another. Some are very small (in just a couple of villages) and others very large (across thousands of communities).
