In our country, we have participatory planning process which starts right from the community level to the village level (where people from different community prioritize their needs for which they prepare their plan and submit it to government. Local level government prioritize the plans in participatory way through ward citizen forums. We actually wanted women and most vulnerable groups to participate in the planning process for having their voice heard. So, forum theatre was one of the media to help community people realise the need to participate throughout the process.
